Interview with Carol

JM: How long was your sentencing for?
Carol: It was for 45 days, but by the time I actually went to court I had already been in for 40 days. I was released the same day.

JM: Did you spend time in a holding cell after your sentencing? If so, what was that like? If you didn't where did they they take you instead?
Carol: yes, you have to stay in the holding cell until everyone is done. this is a total time of 12 hours from guards waking you at 4am and you go to a holding cell. we were transported from jail to the courthouse in canton.
