Interview with Katie

JM: How long was your sentencing for?
Katie: 38-55 months and even though I pulled more than my minimum NC has a new Post Release law and I had to leave on 9 months post release(strict intensive parole)

JM: Did you spend time in a holding cell after your sentencing? If so, what was that like? If you didn't where did they they take you instead?
Katie: I was sentenced and taken within the hour to NCCIW(North Carolina Correctional Institute for Women)The only felony processing facility for women in the state and also the only facility other than Troy for women with felonies.
