Interview with Patrick
JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Patrick: You were given access to the medication that you
need, either prescribed or over the counter.
JM: How did you get your medications?
Patrick: Three times a day a nurse would push her car
loaded with medication around and you would stand
in a line and wait until your turn. A guard
watched to make sure you took the medication.
JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this?
Patrick: Sometimes you could be given another charge for
saving up your medication and not taking it at the
nurses cart under the supervision of an officer.
