Interview with Victor
JM: How long was your sentencing for?
Victor: I had 4 sentences, and they were as such:
20 years, 10 years, 10 years, and 10 years- all
concurrent. The local government also informed the
federal government of the nature of my crime and the
feds also gave me 8 years for the same criminal
episode.
JM: Did you spend time in a holding cell after your sentencing? If so, what was that like? If you didn't where did they they take you instead?
Victor: After I was sentenced I was placed in a holding
cell with other inmates who were either sentenced
or waiting to get sentenced. It was a tense
atmosphere, but we tried to keep our spirits up.
After the proceedings were over, neither counsel
or anyone else would like at us. It was as though
we didn't exist.
