Interview with Deidre

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Deidre: I couldv'e brought underwear, tee-shirts, socks, jogging pants, sleeping pants, shorts, bras, sports bras, jacket and blanket.

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Deidre: We were not issued or required to wear a uniform while incarcerated at the Colbert County Jail, housed in the city of Tuscumbia. We were only required to wear the orange jumpsuit for court and appearances.

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Deidre: No, only thing needed would be things of comfort like lounging shirts and pants.

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Deidre: I am not sure, I never much saw the men unless they were on their way to court in the orange jumpsuit.
