Interview with Mona

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Mona: You werent allowed to bring in items they have to be bought on commisary unless it was already white underwear or t-shirt.

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Mona: When you book in you are given two uniforms consiting of two orange or black and white striped shirts and two orang or black and white striped pants. Size never matters. you could be given a unirm with a size mediu top and 3x pants. i didnt feel that was fair.

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Mona: no not really the only thing was people would try to trade uniforms for uniforms that fit properly because you would end up with whatever they gave you no matter the size of uniform nor your body size

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Mona: no they were exactly thes same except trustees and they are only male, they wore white
