Interview with Rhea
JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Rhea: you could not have any clothes brought in. you
were given new stripes to change every couple
days
JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Rhea: the uniform given were fairly thick fabric. they
were two seperate pieces. there was a top and
elastic pants. they looked like scrubs. they
were black and white stripes
JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Rhea: there were no assigned clotes that were in high
demand. there were shower shoes that everyone
got. i guess getting a pair that fit would be in
high demand
JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Rhea: the men and women wore the same thing
