Interview with Rhea

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Rhea: there were three meals a day offered, however i got an extra meal at night

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Rhea: the food that was available was tv dinners. there were three different tv dinners. breakfast alternated between cereal and a breakfast sandwich, lunch was a microwave hamburger or something and then the alternate of tv dinners. i am a vegetarian and had special circumstances and my diet was accomadated while i was in jail

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Rhea: when i first got to jail i did not eat because of the meat that was in the meals. the last two weeks i was in there i was bought lean cuisines which were all really good

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Rhea: we were not given snacks. there was cold water that was kept out and at dinner we got a small cup of kool aid. store offered peanut butter for sandwiches if we kept our bread from meals. store was not really too bad on prices but we were only allowed to spend $20 a week on snacks
