Meals

Interview with Andres

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Andres: 3 Meals per day, except 2 on Weekends.

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Andres: I was absolute garbage. I don't know who came up with that crap. It was worse than cafeteria food. The sandwiches were all bologna and cheese, with no condiments. The grits in the morning sucked, and they were solid chunks that for fitted to their container. I hated that food.

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Andres: No, all of the meals were garbage. They did seem to help though, because I gained quite a bit of muscle while in there.

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Andres: There were no issued snacks outside of meals. The commisary delivered once a week. It had ramen noodles, honey buns, soap, paper, pens, and a bunch of other stuff. Everything in it was about 10 times more expensive than it is at a grocery store.
