Medications

Interview with Earl

JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Earl: No, you had to fill out a sick call and then wait a couple of days to see the doctor.

JM: How did you get your medications?
Earl: They brought medications around twice a day on a med cart. they would come in the morning around seven or seven thirty. They would come at night around the same time.

JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this?
Earl: If you were caught trying to keep the meds then you would usually get locked down. You would be locked in your cell and not able to get out like everyone else.
