Interview with Ed
JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Ed: I think you could receive visitors 2 or 3 times a
week. It was broken down by the letters of last
names so you had certain days that you could
receive visitors.
JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Ed: It was lengthy maybe about 30 minutes to an hour.
My sister has visited her boyfriend and she has
had to wait a long time on occasion.
JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Ed: There were only phone visits, no direct contact
visits. There are about 7 to 8 visiting booths,
phones, chairs and windows to see your visitor.
The CO isn't typically in the room but can be on
occasion. Im not sure if there are direct contact
visits, there weren't any when I was there.
