JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Rose: are you kidding? the people who had regular meds
were always having problems cause they were
giving them a substitute and every one else was
getting any thing they could just to sleep more
they distibuted meds ar 5 am 10 am 5 pm 10 pm and
80 percent of the people would line up at the
door for any thing they could get tylenol was
10.00 on y9our books if you got it off the
commisary it was 1.35 for two
JM: How did you get your medications?
Rose: I dont want any but i did have an allergic
reation to atomic fireball and my throat sweeled
shut and my face swelled up they finally brought
ne some antihitime=ine but wouldnt give me
benedril [wich is much more fast acting] cause it
might give me a buzz
JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this?
Rose: oh lose you r tv sent to isolation or no outside
but i never saw any abuse of drugs they give them
what they want and thats it
