JM: What types of facilities were available to help pass the time? Richard: the yard consist of a concrete room with no roof
its not really outside thers a few types of
board and card games that are usually missing
pieces theres a tv that you have to read caption
on because you really cant hear it over the
people with basic cable they turn it off at 10
pm
JM: Did you have regular access to the entertainment or was competition fierce? Give details. Richard: with the tv its pretty much what the highest
vote is as far as the games and cards sometimes
you might have to waait on some people to finish
a game but there really wasnt ever any fighting
over it or anything maybe fights about the games
but not over wanting to use them
JM: Did you have a hard time staying in shape while in jail? Richard: if you dont work out you will gain weight form
jst sitting around and not doing any thing but
not really hard
JM: How often did you get to go outside? What did you do outside if you were allowed to? If you were not allowed to go outside what could you do for exercise? Richard: the yard was just a small block room with no
roof on it you cant even see any trees or grass
just the sky but if it wasnt raining or snowing
we could go everyday sometimes but alot of the
time the lazy ass guards didnt want to push the
button to let us out
JM: Did the jail offer church services? If so, what were they like and when were they held? Richard: held in the pod on apod once a week and felony
side thru the door once a week just volenteers
that would come preach to everyone
