Interview with John
JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
John: You can keep a white tee shirt, socks and your
boxers or underwear, and also if you have white
thermals or an A shirt you can keep those too.
JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
John: You are issued one shirt and one pair of pants and
they are all black and white striped. They come
around once a week to switch you out for a clean set.
JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
John: No but I suppose that is why they only have one
uniform and they are all the same.
JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
John: No they too have the same as the men. The
misdemeanor men and women were red.
