Sentencing

Interview with Henry

JM: How long was your sentencing for?
Henry: I was sentenced to six months in the Faulker County Detention Center.

JM: Did you spend time in a holding cell after your sentencing? If so, what was that like? If you didn't where did they they take you instead?
Henry: They took me to the holding cells in booking at the detention center where I stayed for about three days while waiting to get booked in and classified. This was about the worst part of the whole process. They stick men wall to wall in a very small space where you have to step over everyone because people are sleeping on the floors and everywhere. Literally elbow to elbow. The only thing in there is a toilet and a sink and it takes Faulkner County an unusually long time to move people out and get them booked in and sent back to population.
