Interview with Ryan

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Ryan: There were two big halls with a common room in the middle. About a hundred guys in each hall. Then there was another hall just for the women.

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Ryan: A and B

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Ryan: This facility was just for guys doing 2 years or less. Nobody with aggravated felonies.

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Ryan: Best thing I can say for me personally was no sexuall contact. Nothing like that happened and I was pretty worried about that. The thing that has kept me on the straight and narrow is the boredom. A death sentence is really parole. Sitting in cell for 24 hours is absolute horror. Having your freendoms taken away was God awuful.
