Interview with Maria, Tommy, Mark, Marilyn, Rafael and Blair

JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Maria: no
Tommy: no 1 month wait for medical attention
Mark: You have to request it, they come twice a day
Marilyn: yes if you take prescribed medications
Rafael: No I did not take any medication.
Blair: There was a medical cart that made rounds several times per day for those who need meds.

JM: How did you get your medications?
Maria: from mta some times they come by sometimes they dont
Tommy: nurse
Marilyn: they have nurse that comes around several times a day if you take prescribed medication they are the only way u can get it
Rafael: No
Blair: There was a medical cart that made rounds several times per day for those who need meds. I did not take any meds.

JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this?
Maria: 30 days in hoe
Tommy: n/a
Marilyn: i never witnessed any inmates do this but i'm sure it happens and would be punishable by going to the hole ( LOCKDOWN ) or by loosing days
Rafael: No never witness's it.
Blair: It was not difficult to get drugs in jail. If you had enough food, envelopes, or money on your account you could get anything. I never saw anyone get caught.
