Interview with Kelsey

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Kelsey: There were tanks A thru K. The last three tanks were female tanks.

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Kelsey: I'm not sure. But I will give it a try. Alpha, Beta (or maybe Bravo), Charlie,D? E? Foxtrot, G? H? Joliete, Lima, and Kilo.

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Kelsey: Like I said A thru Z were all male inmates. Joliete was for protective custody inmates. They spend twenty three hours in their cell each day, and are let out seperatley for one hour to shower. They are not allowed in the day room together. Lima was for the general population females. And Kilo was for the federal female inmates.

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Kelsey: Well i was never allowed in any other blocks except Lima. But I imagine it would drive me crazy to be anywhere locked in for 23 hours a day. And I guess in Kilo, they only spoke spanish. So that would suck.
