Interview with Scott, Carrie, John and Sophie

JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail?
Scott: yes no matter what support them a stay in touch with them cause jail is lonely and not having any one on the out side can make a person go astray on the inside
Carrie: Have money on your books. Being able to make phone calls and order commissary is extremely important. Also Mail, Mail, Mail. You have a lot of time on your hands with nothing to do but write letters. Getting a letter back is a wonderful thing and keeps you in touch with what is going on with everyone you care about.
John: U don't ever want to go to jail its boring nothing like the movies the food sux people are mean and what I don't get is why are the books about crime?
Sophie: make sure they have a lawyer... don't use a public defender, make sure you have money on your books to buy snacks and cards, plan on going hungry if you are a picky eater

JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them?
Scott: get your life back in order cause on the inside time only stands still
Carrie: Don't do anything to get in trouble, again make sure you have money on your books so you can make phone calls and order commissary. Read a lot, write a lot, and remember time will keep moving and eventually it will be over.
John: be nice to the guards in the end they helped me get out and not get deported. I am very great full to him to checking the compiuter and calling someone to find out I was not suppose to be there.
Sophie: make sure they have a lawyer... don't use a public defender, make sure you have money on your books to buy snacks and cards, plan on going hungry if you are a picky eater

JM: Please list any other jail or rehab facilities you have been to.
