Interview with Albert, Keith, Jon, Innocent17, Acer, Taz, Will and James

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Albert: SCRUBS, I AM A BIG FELLA, AND IF YOU ARE A BIG GUY THEY NEVER HAVE YOUR SIZE NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU REQUEST YOUR SIZE THEY IGNORE YOU GIVE YOU SMALL SIZES AND LAUGH AT YOU, THEY MEANING T HE SHERIFFS GUARDS
Keith: A smock.
Jon: Blue scrubs, a t-shirt, a thermal shirt, and boxers.
Innocent17: Scrubs, tshirt, boxers and jap flaps.
Acer: County blues that's it
Taz: n/a
Will: Everything that you got arrested in stays in a bag until you get out and then you are given everything you need
James: no clothes were brought in by inmates. only the clothes they gave you were you allowed to wear.

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Albert: BLUE.
Keith: It looks like hospital scrubs.
Jon: Yes. Described above.
Taz: n/a
Will: Basically it was a set of royal blue scrubs that said LA COUNTY on them. We were also given slip on black shoes, a white t shirt and white socks
James: you were given a pair of black slip on shoes, pair of sox, lime green boxer shorts, white undershirt, and a blue top and blue bottom.

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Albert: THE NEW AND BIG STUFF.
Keith: Anything that looks new and nice, as opposed to faded and worn out.
Jon: No.
Taz: n/a
Will: Sometimes there would be button up shirts that were very rare that inmates wanted
James: not in particular, the newer any of the clothes the better

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Albert: I GUESS NEVER SEEN ANY WOMEN.
Keith: No.
Jon: I did not see any female inmates.
Taz: yes
Will: I'm not sure because I did not see any women
James: no exactly the same except the women get white shoes.
