Interview with Tim

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Tim: 3 blocks, with 6 or 7 dorms in each block. Cells are in a different area of the jail. You go into them if you keep getting in fights, etc.

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Tim: Cells are lock down. Inmates call it the bubble. The blocks are called 400, 500 and 600 sections and they are in a u-shape.

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Tim: The majority of the dorms house general population. 3 dorms are for protective custody for sex offenders, high profile inmates, etc. Gang dropouts are in "victims potential" because they are at higher risk of being beat up.

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Tim: They are all the same.
