Interview with Erik and Clayton
JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Erik: Yes. Put in a request and you will be seen in 3
days.
Clayton: You don't really take anything that is
narcotic while you are there. They take you to
medical to take it or the nurse comes to you.
Once you get diagnosed by the medical staff they
will get meds to you pretty regularly.
JM: How did you get your medications?
Erik: Twice a day and they watch you take the pill.
They have a picture of you along with your pill,
and they make sure they ID you before you take
it. They watch to make sure you don't cheek the
med.
Clayton: They bring a med cart around or take you to see
the nurse.
JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this?
Erik: New criminal charges.
Clayton: It could be anything from the cop ignoring it to
getting a write up to isolation to getting a new
case.
