Closing Advice

Interview with Hillary, Tye, Eva, Richard and Victor

JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail?
Hillary: Put money on their books.
Tye: do whatever u can to get this person bonded elpaso county jail suck the cops are a bunch of good ol boys and they wont hesitate to fuck any one up.
Eva: mail.. mail is very important to a person incarcerated it shows that even tho they committed a crime everyone makes bad choices in lif ebut that doesn't mean u are forgotten or unloved..even if the family or friend is upset express that to ur loved one. sometimes we need to hear what we put our loved ones thru when we r doing wrong. just show support with calls money and visits it helps alot
Richard: Bond him or her out asap, especially if you love them, this is not a place for a human being, this is where cops love to humiliate and degrade you. I used to have respect for authority, ya ok they are just doing jobs, but after this experience i will always hate the police. that wont change ever either
Victor: Do the best can to make plans to start a new and legal life when you are released. Don't be stupid Listen to directions and follow the directions given so you stay out of troubl.

JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them?
Hillary: I would say pick up a book and start reading. That's what I did.
Tye: stay away from the youngsters they almost always are trrying to prove some thing to thier retarded little gangs. find a good book and stay in your room to work out otoo
Eva: try and take as much money to jail with u as they serve nasty food and it helps for calls and meals. stay to yourself don't involve yourself in drama and just do ur time not someone elses
Richard: Keep your head up, stay strong, let the outside just be outside for now. just know you cant serve a life sentence here so youll be out one day regardless, even though it feels like life.
Victor: Do your best to stay occupied and you will stay sane. it's a hard lesson to learn to get your life in order but sometimes that is what it takes.
