Interview with Gary

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Gary: I think there was 15 different blocks, I was only in two

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Gary: I was in c block and d block, and they went alphabetically

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Gary: It was all according to the crimes you did so if you had aggravated charges you were housed with more violent offenders and if you had lower offenses you were housed with like inmates

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Gary: In the more violent blocks they would always bang on their cells and even though I wasn't in those blocks you could always hear the banging and that was always bad...reminded me of being at the zoo with nothing but crazy monkeys! The nice part was the commodity, you always had someone to watch your back
