Interview with Gary
JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Gary: 3 meals but I only ate breakfast
JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Gary: The food shouldn't even be on a scale of good or bad because
it tasted so bad and looked horrible I could not force my self to
eat it, it looked as if it was made for dogs and was always
bland. I wondered how other inmates ate it everyday
JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Gary: Oranges and fresh fruit was always my favorite along with the
cartons of milk because I knew nobody touched them
JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Gary: You could get commissary but it was expensive and it was
hard to buy it when you don't have that much money on your
books so I would always get a bag of chips to last me
