Interview with Rosa

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Rosa: There were about 10 different buildings where I was.

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Rosa: CPC, Baker, Davis, North Dorm(which is now part of the men's prison). 4 south, 3 south, 2 south..

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Rosa: Unsentenced and long term sentences and violent crimes are 4-1 south..non violent and sentenced short sentence are CPC baker davis. 4-1 south is maximum security and others are minimum security.

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Rosa: I was in 4 south for 2 weeks when I got there and it was lockdown all day execpt for half hour around 6pm. We were not allowed to have even a pen or paper..just laying in bed all day with 3 other people in the room..sucked! when i finally got moved to cpc it was great..doors were not locked and got treated much better.
