Interview with Louisa

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Louisa: I would have no idea. It's huge, I can tell you that.

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Louisa: The space shuttles are what they were named after. They were nothing like a space shuttle.

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Louisa: The juveniles are held separately. They have a medical section for those that are sick or on psychotic drugs. They have lock down, a section for people that are really really way out there. If you are in protective custody, they have a section for that, they have a section for suicide watch. In the section I was in, they had a 17 year old that was certified as an adult.

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Louisa: I would really say the lockdown area was probably the worst. I was never in it but girls were coming and going from there. All you get is your bedroll and your bible.
