Interview with Mary

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Mary: There were 2 pods for females, 4 pods for males, and 1 federal pod.

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Mary: The female pods were "F" & "T" pods. The male pods were "B," "C," "G," and "H" pods. The federal inmates were housed in the "A" pod.

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Mary: The only difference in the housing of inmates was gender. We were separated into female and male populations. All inmates with federal and immigration cases were housed in the "A" pod.

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Mary: The male pods were much nicer than the female pods. They were newer, so they had better facilities and accommodations. The best part about the male pods was the flat screen television in each cell. The worst part about the female pods was the cold water in the showers and poor TV reception.
