JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)? Alex: Navy blue uniforms were most common. Other
common clothes were the black and white striped
uniforms, brown ones, and orange ones. Javier: You are given Blue uniforms twice a week and if
you are a trustee they are either tan or stripes
everyday. You can purchase white t-shirts, boxers,
thermals and shoes off the canteen list if you
choose to. Kyle: No I couldn't unless it was white and all
my clothes happened to be all black
JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you. Alex: I initially wore a navy blue uniform. When I
became a trustee, I wore a black and white
striped uniform. Javier: The uniforms were basically V-neck pajamas. They
werent uncomfortable but they could be a little
thin for the cold temperatures in jail. Kyle: Like a full body suit I believe it was white
and they would give you these ugly pink
looking house slippers which I had to
wear
JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned? Alex: Inmates should ask for clean clothes and
slippers. It was easy to get some type of foot
fungus if they were given the wrong pair of
slippers. Javier: No Kyle: Not really but you would try to get a
good pair slippers
JM: Was the clothing different between men and women? Alex: The clothing was the same for both sexes. Javier: Only in color. The women wore beige uniforms most
men wore blue. Kyle: Idk I never saw the woman
