JM: What types of things did you have to do to avoid problems or fights with other inmates?
Joey: I tended to stick with people I k ew and not associate with others I didn't I tended to try and stay in my cell most of the time Reding writing letters drawing things of that nature it deff helps to have letters in which to correspond with the out side

JM: Were you able to choose an inmate as your cellmate if you knew one? How often would your cellmate(s) change?
Joey: To an extent depending on if the guard was in a good mood if. Of it was always there choice and you may have a cell mate for a month or a day it depends on there sentence or if they bond out earley
