Pre-sentencing

Interview with Joey

JM: Tell us about the pre-sentencing process:
Joey: You are brought into booking and finger printed then you are put into a very small holding cell were u wait to either bond out or be transfered to a pod which can take days then u are taken to a pod and giving a cell number and from there u wait till u see the bond judge by cameras

JM: Did you have police stop by your house for questioning? If not please give us details on how you came to be arrested.
Joey: I got pulled over in ray city for running a stop sign in which I did not see I then pulled into a gas station in which a patrols car pulled in behind me and hit his lights as I was getting out of the car I proceeded to tell him my listens were in fact suspended in which time he placed me in cuffs and transferred me to the nail house

JM: What was court like? Please give as many details as you recall.
Joey: U were brought into a very small court house with only one court room and sat down in front of the judge till u were called apon then he asked the proscuter what they thought was appropriate and asked u how u plead but it takes forever to get a court date I did forty five days before I was brought in front of one then he reads u your sentence and u are brought back to the jail to either be released or to carry out your sentence

JM: What were your original charges? What did you end up being convicted of?
Joey: Driving while on suspension and I was put on two years probation
