Meals

Interview with Clarinda

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Clarinda: We only got two meals a DAY breakfast and dinner

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Clarinda: Three out of the seven dinner meals we received a week were decent the other four look like something you would feed addog and they probably would not even eat the meals.the taste was very horrible with a bad smell.so during those days i ate what i bought off my commissary

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Clarinda: The chicken with white rice and broccoli was great the sloppy Joe was good.three pizza was horrible the beef stew was great.

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Clarinda: They did not offer us any other snacks besides breakfast and dinner.commissary was fantastic.very reasonable prices.chips were under $1 drinks wet under $1.50 candy bars were $1 or less.i enjoyed my commissary better than their food
