Interview with Clarinda
JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Clarinda: Twice a week we could get visitations we
had three monitors inside dorms in
whichwe got our visits.
JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Clarinda: They had to arrive thirty minutes ahead of
time before visitation started.they lasted
forty Five minutes.some people used their
entire visit some didn use all their time.
JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Clarinda: We had to stay inside our open dorm for
visitation unless you were a
trustee.everyone was able to see your
visits which did not give us any privacy At
all! And must inmates would bee all
inside the monitors while other inmates
were trying to see their loved ones!
