Meals

Interview with Rhett and Stewart

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Rhett: Just at the regular times of day. If you get arrested and they already had dinner or something, too bad.
Stewart: Three meals per day not bad.

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Rhett: A 2.
Stewart: There was not any salt allowed or sugar allowed in any of the food and most of the time it was cold sandwiches, bland cereal, tasteless food. But then again I'm guessing I was in jail and how great could the food really be in all honesty, in other words the food sucks.

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Rhett: All I got was a ham and cheese sandwich and nasty cookies and grape soda to drink.
Stewart: My favorite meal which was everyone in my pods favorite meal was the weenies and cheddar mashed potato they served ONE TIME, other than that the rest was not to good.

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Rhett: They had a couple of pieces of fruit they gave you. That was it.
Stewart: The commissary was very expensive, considering a pack of ramen in wal mart costs 10cents in there they cost 75 cents, but there was plenty of food and extra health and beauty products on the list
