Interview with Jack, Jerry, Sarah, Gary, Kristie, Tim, Judith and Jesse

JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail?
Jack: Good Luck trying to get any info to help the person.
Jerry: Try to accept their calls and visit them at least once per week because it gets very lonely in there. Also, you may want to try and put some money on their account each week so they can buy some food on the commissary to supplement the slack meals they are served every day.
Sarah: Just do all you can to stay out and if you do go keep your head up, do the time don't let the time do you.
Gary: do not cross the gaurds...they are very mean. i was treated poorly. So, poor that I am talking to the naacp at this moment to file a cruel and unusual punishment lawsuit against this awful place. I have spoken to 60 ex-inmates who are in this with me. I am working on more. We are getting petitions signed right now! They treated the wrong person mean this time...
Kristie: Bring as many unopened packs of Newports as you can. Even if you don't smoke and never would, those cigarettes are worth more than gold in there. Make sure you have plenty of good friends and family to write you as much as possible. Set up some magazine subscriptions - straight from the publisher!! to help pass the time.
Tim: Kill yourself first. Use sleeping pills or heroin or a bullet but if you are white and in Georgia your best option is suicide. Kill yourself because the niggers will try to kill you if you don't
Judith: Just know that they would be going to one of the best jails in Georgia. It still may be jail, but it is a much better environment than any other jail I've ever had to go to. They will be treated better and eat better.

JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them?
Jack: NO
Jerry: Do exactly as you are told by the deputies and keep your mouth shut at all other times.
Sarah: yeah, if you go once. isn't that enough for an entire lifetime?
Jesse: Stay away form officer R. Tieu he has anger issues, he will mistreat you humiliate you and take your food away.
Kristie: Build a support network of loyal friends and family before you go. Canteen is everything so you'll need people to put money on your books. It will help to pass the time if you have colorful letters and pictures arrive from family and friends.
Tim: Kill yourself first. Use sleeping pills or heroin or a bullet but if you are white and in Georgia your best option is suicide. Kill yourself because the niggers will try to kill you if you don't and I can tell you from experience, the nigger cops will UNLOCK YOUR CELL and send the niggers in to kill you. They sure as hell tried to kill me that way.
Judith: I can only say to just go and do your time, and try to make the best of a bad situation. Stock up on a lot of cigarettes while your there. You can sell them!

JM: Please list any other jail or rehab facilities you have been to.
Kristie: Orient Road Jail in Tampa, FL; Faulkenburg Jail in Tampa, FL and the Juvenile Assessment Center in Tampa, FL (it may be called something else these days)
Tim: Cherokee county, Paulding county and most of the prisons in Georgia. In Washington, King county, clark county, twinn rivers, Medical lake, walla walla, any prison except for Monroe. I had special skills and they kept moving me from prison to prison.
Judith: Dekalb County, Putnam county,Atlanta city jail, Forsyth county, Hall county, Lee Arrendale state prison.
