Visitor Policy

Interview with Greg and Tyler

JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Greg: Only once a month for me. I don't know if that was policy or just me.
Tyler: every sunday if you did not get your visit revoked for bad behavior which did happen a lot to some people

JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Greg: I only had one person come see me and she said it was easy to get in but she had to wait for hours to finally see me for only 15 minutes.
Tyler: I do not think so but I am not a 100% sure about that. I think they just had to turn in there keys and cell phones

JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Greg: It was a window visit and had to stand the whole time. My daughter wasn't allowed to come. And you had to use the telephone talking which was hard to hear and greasy and not clean at all! You cant do a face to face visit at all in that jail.
Tyler: our visitation was done on a computer screen kinda the way Skype is operated. we never got a physical contact visitation. we never left our cell block because we had the visitation computer in our cell block and there was a room at the front of the jail where visitors checked in and got there visit
