Meals

Interview with Eric

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Eric: We always got three meals.

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Eric: The food was mostly good. Somedays we would get fried chicken. That was one of the favorites on the menue. If there was something you didn't like there was always an alternative. You always had peanutbutter and jelly and/or cereal. The meatloaf was another favorite. I hated the turkey ham.

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Eric: My favorites was the fried chicken and meatloaf. My worst meal was the turkey ham. It was always gritty to me.

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Eric: The only snacks was the ones you bought from the commisary. Commissary had a some what good choice of goodies. From chocolate bars to chips and soda. But you had to have alot of money on the books.
