Interview with Bee, Anthony and Clarence

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Bee: There was a set uniform.
Anthony: nothing they give you everything you get stuck with boxers socks shirts and pants that someone had wore before you most of which had holes in them and you git sandalds
Clarence: You could buy t-shirts, gym shorts & socks. I believe that is all the clothes items.

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Bee: The uniform was all blue. It was a blue top, a blue pants shoe, rec room shoes, state issued undershirt, state issued panties (which was used just claimed to be sterilized in high heat but you could still see previous stains from other women ) and a state issued sports bra.
Anthony: you got 4 pairs of brown old boxers 4 pairs of old holly socks 4 old worn brown t shirts and 2 navy blue shirts you wore over your brown t shirts and 2 pairs of navy blue pants that were usually torn
Clarence: The clothing given was an orange jumpsuit with undershorts, undershirt, socks & slip-on shoes. There wasn't any choice in this matter, all inmates looked the same.

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Bee: Something without a stain from another woman. You couldn't request something else but it was a plus if they looked clean.
Anthony: everything was old ratty and gross so people usually looked for something that was torn or holly
Clarence: In this facility, all inmates dressed the same - orange jumpsuits.

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Bee: Men had the same things except of course boxers instead of panties and no sports bra.
Anthony: im not sure if women had different color clothes
Clarence: I never saw any women while I was in there. They keep men & women very separated.
