JM: Did you have regular access to telephones?
Greg: Yes although the phone is cut off after 10:pm I think may have
been 11
JM: What types of charges applied for calling people? How much money would you guess the average inmate spends per week on phone calls?
Greg: Outrageous never heard the exact amount just that my
girlfriends grandmother owed a lot .
JM: Did you need to buy phone cards to call out?
Greg: The time I was there buying phonecards was not a option.Don't
know if it is now I imagine if so its overpriced.I
JM: Did the jail screen your calls?
Greg: Yes it states above every phone I saw that you are being
monitered.
