Interview with Regina
JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Regina: Three.
JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Regina: Like a 4. Sometimes when they got to my block
they would run out of certain parts of the
meal. For example they would run out of
biscuits with the biscuits and gravy and they
would serve the gravy with bread.
JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Regina: Actually we had donut day on Fridays and
Wednesdays. You get two donuts that seemed like
Krispy Kreme. I like Spanish Rice and they had
it there. They also had nacho day which I
liked. I didn't like the peanut butter and
honey sandwiches.
JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Regina: Not unless you had money to buy commissary.
