Meals

Interview with Terri

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Terri: You received three meals a day unless medical needs permitted otherwise.

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Terri: If I were to rate the food between 1-10 ten being best and one being worse, I would probably rate it an 8.Only because I can only speak of 2 jails that I have stayed in, and compared to the other jial, the Butler County Jail food was absolutely wonderful. They did not serve slop on a tray, they had actual real food as if they had a cook in the ki

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Terri: No, I did not have a favorite meal or least favorite, for each meal I consumed was different from the other, yet very tasty compared to the jail I had gotten transferred from.

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Terri: Yes inmates are allowed to order snacks and other Items off commisary. I am however, not aware of the pricing for such items. If I recall correctly, a bag of jolly ranchers or something of that nature costed e $3.00+.
