Interview with Charles and Lynne

JM: How long was your sentencing for?
Charles: 18 months with all but 12 months suspended.
Lynne: 18 months time and probation

JM: Did you spend time in a holding cell after your sentencing? If so, what was that like? If you didn't where did they they take you instead?
Charles: Yes I was in a holding cell. It was not pretty. It was owful. I had never evern been in jail before and I was 50 years old, so it was not a good situation for me.
Lynne: Cold stinky I was very hungry they don't feed you degrading them picking your belongings apart Very uncomfortable and dirty writing on the walls other prisoners screaming correctional officers walking back and forth nasty in humane
