Interview with Tina

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Tina: I believe the handbooks state that I'm now allowed to disclose that information.

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Tina: As I stated, I was only in Q & E dorms.

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Tina: I didn't know how each was classed. I think E was like a pre-classification, maybe tougher. Q dorm was, as I was told, we had more privileges. Of course, I didn't have anything to compare it to.

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Tina: There was nothing nice about anything. I couldn't stand the shower situation, no soap, to get toilet paper you had to produce an empty cardboard roll. There was no hair conditioner or hairbrushes. Everything is dirty. We were only permitted to clean on one large shakedown. Much of the problems occurred due to inconsistencies between COs.
