Inmates

Interview with Juan, Bill and Brian

JM: Did you find it difficult to get along with other inmates? Please give examples to explain why you did or didn't.
Juan: I got along fine withe the other inmates. It was crowed in there, the holding cell just had a bench and two metal chairs, We passed the time by talking about what charges we were facing/cops/women etc. One dude just said he was in the wrong place at the wrong time, so we just left him be and didn't ask him any more questions.
Bill: I really didn't care about getting along with an end with any and made for anyone the only thing I was worried about was getting along with myself I don't worry about other people
Brian: no. i am laid back and i know everyone i had a couple incidents bout no drama im well known in md so everyone was dissapointed i was in jail

JM: What types of things did you have to do to avoid problems or fights with other inmates?
Juan: Don't provoke anyone and you won't have a problem, there are alot of guards walking around in the presentencing area at least and cameras in all the cells so no one tried anything.
Bill: well I never had a fight in the jail I had a fight at the pre release center with the one individual over some racial issues and I was very very upset I could not hold myself and wind up fighting I ended up getting kicked out of the release program and sent back to jail
Brian: nothing i just kept to my self didnt bet bargin or borrow from no one. those are the main reason why people get in trouble ion jail because of the gambling and not paying your debt stay to ur self mind your own business dont get comfortable with people .

JM: Were you able to choose an inmate as your cellmate if you knew one? How often would your cellmate(s) change?
Bill: you're not able to choose any and make you wanted to be at your self made they were assigned to you just like everything else is assigned to you in the day what you will eat with you where and when you were sleeping when you lay down and they decide everything
Brian: nope i had the same. cellmate for 6 monthd he went home and then a year later so did i . sometime u can pick your cell mate if u been in jail long enough
