Clothing

Interview with Brandon and Lydia

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Brandon: Honestly I could not tell I wasn't interested in bringing in any clothing because my time wasn't that lengthy and I could due with what I had.
Lydia: I'm sure that there were other things that the inmates could have worn but I didn't need any of that due to the fact that I only was serving a 6 month sentence

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Brandon: There's nothing really to be specific about just the standard underwear that is given and the standard pair of pants and the standard shirt as well.
Lydia: The outfits were standard for any jail throughout America and in other countries. It would be your typical one piece solid color uniform that usually would be to big

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Brandon: No not really just the typical long pant shirt and soft ass shoes.
Lydia: Nothing in particular that I could remember just the standard underwear socks pants and a shirt

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Brandon: Yes both the men and women wore the same outfits but just in a different color.
Lydia: Yes the women wore green and the men wore orange
