Interview with Nick and Phillip
JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Nick: yes i was released two months early for earned
good time.
Phillip: Yes, each moth you get 7.5 days if I remember
correctly off for good behavior . You had to work
and do a program or some type along with keeping
good behavior
JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Nick: you can earn up to ten days per month
Phillip: I don't know if there is a cap
JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Nick: its not so much what you need to avoid other than
just staying out of trouble. they don't just give
it to you, you earn it by participating in
programs, working, or going to school.
Phillip: Fights, failed urinalysis, disobeying orders from
correctional officers . Hoarding your pills , not
keeping cell clean. Running a store to sell
commissary , gang activity
