Interview with Grant, Will, Deshawn and Wes

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Grant: unifroms ionly different colors based on unit
Will: Assigned uniform
Deshawn: All white under shirts and all white boxers and all white socks. In order for it to come in the jail it had to be all white.
Wes: socks and underwear

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Grant: like medical scrubs, 2 sets for a week
Will: Yes, it was a pretty plain uniform
Deshawn: Well the under clothing had to be all white. Then they would issue you a top and a bottom. The top would be like a polyester thick short sleeve shirt with one pocket on the right side I believe and the bottoms which were pants was the same polyester material with a rubber band waist material like some jogging pants
Wes: a jacket a hat socks underwear pants shirt sneakers

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Grant: the young boys ususally wanted thwe larger sdiazeand the newest ones
Will: No
Deshawn: No not really but the new ones were in high demand if you new someone working the uniform section you would give them like a ramen noodle soup or something
Wes: sizes

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Grant: no I sure the sizes were different
Will: Unknown
Deshawn: I really don't remember but I think the girls wore a jump suit, if I'm not mistaken.
Wes: no
