Interview with Eric

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Eric: In Grand Traverse County Jail you can have NO clothes brought in from outside to wear. You get what you are issued and that is it.

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Eric: You get clothing exchange once a week. It consists of two white t-shirts, two pairs of orange socks, two pairs of white briefs, one orange jail shirt, one orange jail pants (elastic waistband). That's it.

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Eric: There was no different clothing an inmate could be assigned.

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Eric: There was no difference between the clothing men and women wore.
