Visitor Policy

Interview with Clinton and Brooke

JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Clinton: Once a week, and its 15-20 minutes.
Brooke: 1 Time a week you were allowed a visitor. I never got any visitors. I just stayed in my cell.

JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Clinton: From what I understand they had to go in, sign a sheet and check in, and wait for the jail to get me, bring me down, and if there's a lot of people visiting, waiting to get in.
Brooke: Yes, You have to sign a paper and show your id and then wait your turn. I visited someone once and waited an hour and thirty minutes to have a 10 min visit.

JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Clinton: Inmate and visitor are separated by glass and talk through a phone.
Brooke: Like what you see in movies a phone and a clear bullet proof glass dividing you. It was not in anyway private and everyone talks real loud so you kinda have to yell at the person you are visiting. It was really better to not visit anyone at all unless you were there for a long time
