Visitor Policy

Interview with Dave

JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Dave: Once a week. They had different visitation days, but you could only take one visit per week. You can have more than one person but they have to all come in together. Visits are only 15-30 minutes.

JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Dave: I don't think so. It was time consuming. They said it was kind of a pain in the ass for them to see me because they had to wait around for a long time. If you don't come in by a certain time you can't visit. You have to make an appointment for a visit when you arrive, and it is first come first serve.

JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Dave: There was a glass window between inmate and visitor and we talked on the phone.
